Don't want to put words in Dave (Bamford's) mouth, but he had a prototype setup from us way back in the beginning. If I remember right, it was not too easy to adjust the way it was made up. We did another one early on that had NO rod ends or adj at all, so we could sort out some other things on another persons car.
I remember we were backed up on production too, and couldn't get things sorted out with Dave at the time. He went to the wolfe stuff to have full adjustability, and a more "race-only" solid setup. We didn't offer adj lowers then either, and basically still don't. Our stuff wasn't really an all-out race setup back then. There ARE some VERY interesting prototypes of ours out there right now

We finally saw a performance ceiling on our current control arms (mid 8's) even with our Delrin upgrade. Seeing heavy cars being pushed into the 8's and faster, we are stepping up our program to match it. Look for a couple this year knocking on the 7's !!! That's all I'm gonna say about that

Will have proto's at BG in our booth & on a couple cars. Dave does AWESOME stuff with his cars, we simply couldn't provide the right parts at that time. No hard feelings or anything crazy like that. Dave can chime in here, but that's kinda the way I remember it. LOT'S happened since then
Maybe we can get Dave to try a set of our new lowers and/or suspension pkg when we get them going, and maybe get some 1.2's out of it

It's in the tuneup and converter too, and Dave has it running perfect all the way around! I keep thinking of my 1.40 and low 1.4's WAY back going a much slower 10.70 range. That was long before our swaybar which would have helped a ton, and at a track nothing even close to Norwalk. Oh what a feelin!
Congrats to Dave & other winners! The track was a bite'n & the air was a chill'n. Explains a lot of great ET's and a few broken parts. That's Ohio in the spring & in the fall
