i dont get it? who got ripped off?

The admin posted the OP's info in the first post so it would be easy for people to find. The OP had 'sold' about $1500 in parts to these guys and never sent them out. That thread is long and hilarious.

The OP was a scammer so the mods changed it and listed every bit of personal info they could find on the guy. :)

I'm about half though on pg 50 of 132 and that thread is viral. It went like a hundred pages in about two days. Some funny stuff. Those yellowbullet guys are the chit. that turbo6 guy ain't too shabby either. Is he on here?

Wired 6.12: Murder by Internet

ten pages of suspense. crazy how it twists. Also from that thread

Very interesting story. I did some Googling to find the conclusion.

"In 1998, Chris Dean, a truck driver from Indiana, was sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of 17-year-old Chris Marquis from Vermont. Marquis operated a scam in which he would pose as the 27-year-old proprietor of a fictional shop called the CB Shack, and offer to trade merchandise with people online. When people sent Marquis their goods, he would either not send anything back or would send something old or broken. Dean fell victim to this, built a pipe bomb and mailed it to Marquis, killing him and injuring his mother."

Moral of the story: If you scam the wrong person they will f*cking kill you no matter what the consequences are.
