I am not sure if this has ever been covered, I have been a part of gnttype and here for the last 7 years and I have never seen anything on this...but here's what i noticed...
all turbo6 logo's on the car have the red stripe on top of the yellow where the line goes horizontal....
like at the top of this page....in the tb.com logo

but the GN centercap appears to be different, where the yellow stripe remains continuous all the way down and forms a 6 without being cut off by the red....i have 7 centercaps in my posession and they are all this way.....

i looked on the GMP 87 GN diecast (the first one) and it would appear those centercaps would be wrong as per the real centercaps....but correct in matching all other turbo6's

the monogram model of the 87 gn is also the same as the GMP, where its caps match all other logo's,
so does anyone know why the REAL centercaps have the wrong logo, or different logo???????

TIA

ps i may have too much time on my hands right now......

lol. I was putting new centercaps on my car last week and VendorDefendor pointed that out to me. I've been into Buicks since 95 and never noticed either. Good eye. :)

In all these years, I never noticed that! Nice one......now it's gonna drive me nuts wondering why.

That's OK...I just got my seats redone in my "T" and this is the first time I noticed the headrests aren't really positioned right on the seats...if you look at the car from the front and look at both headrests the drivers side headrest is positioned towards the outside...then look at the pass side...it's more towards the inside
..it looks like GM just cut all the seats in the same spot for the headrest...I 've had my GN since I bought it new in 87 and never noticed that...looks stupid if you stare at it long enough...

Hahha, not that I stare at many other GNs but I noticed the same thing with mine. I noticed it almost immediately after buying my current GN with just over 400 original miles on the clock 2 yrs ago, so I knew it was that way from the factory. Never noticed it on my 1st GN most likely due to the limo + 35% tint so I couldn't thru the back window.

The anomalie makes it look like a 500 lb. whale sat in one seat bending it.

Odd, I just looked at the keychain I made 9 years ago and then the headrest. Weird, I wonder why they did that?

This is the keychain I made.

That, and a broken door key are all I have left of my stripped 84 TR so I just couldnt get rid of it.

I just found an old Ttype and 3.8SFI Turbo emblem too. They are now stuck to my computer desk. Maybe if I keep digging in my fathers garage I will find enough spare parts to make another TR. :)
