Now what?

I have a battery draining issue that I just cant figure out! I have a fresh battery and a fresh alt, the aftermarket stereo has power to it but the speakers aren't hooked up. I just bought the car a few months ago, needs a little work but runs pretty good.

My issue is for some strange reason, when the car is running if I cut the stereo on and then cut the car off, the battery gets drained and I'll have to jump it. Otherwise it's fine, can't figure it out to save my life. Been racking my brain all day. Anyone else have this problem?

Thanks, I read the other threads. The fan isn't supposed to come on when the car is off? Mines does, but only when the engine is hot! I thought it was supposed to do that, if not what is the cause? Bad relay?

Mine comes on, engine off, when hot... I thought that was normal.

Just making sure, had me going for a second. This week end I'm gonna check the fuses and radio connections.
