I have the m15 nozzle, 24lbs boost, 23* timing, 11.3 afr and the car mph highest with the alky knob set on 4 go higher and it slows down, this is on 100% meth. I have seen posts where Julio has said this lower setting may not give the best pump performance. So how should I tune to get to a higher pump setting? or should I go to a smaller nozzle?

Stock motor, TE 60, 50lb inj, MAFTPro, LC-1

Thanks,
Mike

Mike, you have two options. One is go to an M10 and running a higher knob setting, or pull fuel out of your tuneup while running higher alky volume. Meaning if you increase the knob setting your air fuel will come down. Once the air fuel comes down either lean out the injectors or increase boost :D

Your tuning correctly. The setting on 4 as long as the car stumbles when you hit the test button isnt an issue. My concern is that bringing down the Gain setting makes the pump lazy. The easiest way to tell if the system is lazy is by hitting the test. No air fuel change when you hit test=lazy. Some controllers are set whereby the Initial is a bit higher and negates the "4" having issues setting.
