Just got a scanmaster and still learning what this all means. I looked at the ranges (in the instructions) that each paramater should be. All looks fine except the o2 mv readings.....should be 700-750, but my numbers are 613-650. What does this mean? What should I be doing to fix this?
See my sig for upgrades done....or please ask for more info if I haven't given enough. Chris
PS....I did post this question in the "Scanmaster" section.......but I don't think I got alot of hits there.

Under what conditions are you reading the O2? Normally, during closed loop operation (cruising, other non WOT conditions) the O2 volts will normally read "all over the place". Only during WOT pulls will you get a fairly consistent reading, and for safety's sake, better numbers would be close to 800 or higher.

I was reading the numbers while the car was idling in the driveway.
So should I be reading the numbers while driving around?? Or only when I "punch" it (I don't take it to the track).
Thanks for any help. Chris

Numbers should be read @ WOT. Set your boost @ 16psi and your FP @ 42psi static, and slowly tune your way up from there. Your readings should be about 800mv ( WOT ) with a NBO2. If you are able, get a WBO2 and tune more accurately. If the numbers you gave where to have been @ WOT, it would mean you were WAAAAYY lean. Brian
