How vital is the o2 sensor to our cars and how do you know if yours is going bad

very important, you tune your car around its readings.
If i am ever in doubt about my O2 sensor i replace it.

To tell if its bad, you will get a ses light on or you can pull up the O2 CC on the scanmaster and the numbers should jump at idle by at least 10...less than that and it'll be lazy
