I've had the kit in just a week, had it perfectly tuned Monday, ready for a race this next weekend, and today I swapped on a 18# actuator and went for a test drive, and my O2s have fallen drastically and I'm getting some knock..this was at 22#.
I dropped the boost to 18#, and cranked the alky up, still no O2s back in range, they're below 600mv. I changed chips and went back to a non-alky chip that was tuned for 24# of boost, that would make it real rich at only 18#, and now I've got O2s in the 790-800mv range and no knock without alky...but the O2s should be alot higher with this chip and no akly. I turn on the alky and set it to the half way knob on Razors kit, and still no change in O2s...

I'm totally at a loss of what to do next...its like I have 2 problems, no alky and lak of fuel with the old non-alky chip...no matter what I do I can't get the O2s any higher.

I did pull the uppipe off and hit the "test" botton on the alky controller and it sprays alky out just fine.....I'm about to go out a try it with pressure to see if it will spray based on the boost pressure by using a air compressor with key on/engine off...

Looks like the alky is working just fine, I hooked up the air compressor and with the uppipe off, I see the alky pouring in at 10# of boost and getting higher up to 20#, turned the controller down low and high to make sure there was a difference and there was......

So now the only question is why isn't my O2s reading higher when the alky is pumping in than when it not???

Fuel.. your probably out of fuel to the rail.

Your items, fuel pump/filter/regulator/ecm/chip/electrical or lines having a kink??

Could even be something as simple as a bad tank grounding or clogged fuel filter. Get back to basics and figure why the O2's are crashing..

Your chip could also be suspect since it is what tells the injectors how much to open. Tho I doubt it if everything else appears to be working.

Your journey begins...

nd is located right where the car was creamed about 8 years ago, appearently the body shop cut it and put a flare fitting on it, now it won't seal....

But either way, whatever is causing me not to get enough fuel, I don't understand why there is no difference in O2 readings when the alky is on or off at 18# of boost when my tests proved the alky is working fine...unless the boost pressure is greater than the alky line pressure since my test had no pressure on the nozzle tip in the uppipe since I did it with an air compressor in the boost line to the MAP.

Watch your tank level after you make a run. In other words mark it.. make a blast.. see where it went.

If the tank is coming down considerably.. the alky system is healthy. You should consume at least 8 ounces(about 1 glass) of alcohol in a 1/4 mile pass.

Make sure the "Initial" is setup in the 12 o'clock position. Factory setting is 11:30. At 18-20 PSI boost.. you can move the Initial to the 1 o'clock to really make the pressure rise if you still think alky.

A 300 PSI guage "T'd" into the pressure line can also be used to test the system.

But the age old consumption will show whats up easily.

I haven't touched the "initial" setting pod in the controller, I'll do that and will mark the tank and watch it, but first I have to get my fuel line fixed at the filter.
Thanks Julio for the suggestion.

Ok, got the fuel line back together, luckily sixgun86gn had the fuel line I needed, got it on the road and marked the alky level.
With the system off, and 18# of boost, the O2s are in the 800's (with this same chip before alky the O2s were in the 850s) I suspect it may be getting more air because the alky cleaned up the intake tract of oil, carbon, etc...

I turned the alky on with the controll knob turned at half way, and all the way for 3 long blasts. All the lights come on as they should, but the alky level was unchanged and the O2s were at the same 800's range. I'm now suspecting the alky pump may not be able to over come the boost pressure, so I'll investigate that next.

2QUIK6, drop me a call. Let me go through some items with you. See if we can figure whats what.
