OD or lock the convertor

I was at the track last night, and my car shifted into OD right at the line and since I WILL be faster next year I was wondering which is better, locking the convertor or letting it shift into OD??

Any and all opinions are welcome.

Locking the converter would be better. How tall a tire are you running and what gear ratio?

Stock gear 26" tall tire or so..Not exactally sure.

locking it up may slow the car down in your case ,just test it out and see.o/d upshift is definately not in your best interest.
