OIL / CHOKE LIGHT

Installed Cam sensor repair kit (RJC). Car fired right up but bogged out. Oil /choke light stays on. Over tightened?

Sounds like cam sensor is not turning oil pump.Do you have oil pressure?

Do not start the engine until you definitely have oil pressure on your oil pressure gauge

If the cam sensor is fully seated it has to be sitting on the oil pump shaft. Unless the drive tang is sheared off the pump shaft should be spinning.

Now it has to be primed for spinning to mean pressure. If the light is on you've got less than 4PSI. (assuming the switch is working and I've never heard of a bad one that lights the light)
