oil drip 3.8 on a girdled

ok im looking to buy another GN, im looking at a 9 sec 1 though, and he said that when the car sits that it leaks a little bit(small a table spoon or 2) because its a girdled block now, is this that common?

A Buick leaking oil..........I'll bet more do than dont.

However, that does not mean that it has to be. If sealed properly there is no reason a girdled motor should leak oil.

The turbocharged engine is more prone to leak, after all the block does see some pressure from the nature of the beast. Very few do not leak... exspecially if they are putting out some serious hp.
