Oil filter blow test

OK Tom H hit the nail on the head. If I blow hard it will puff my cheeks and it will pass a little air no matter what. I went and checked some more Pure 1 filters. There was an old one and it was like blowing in the wind, ,but when I got the newer ones it was hard to blow the air in fast, lots of resistance. Thanks for all the replys.

My parts supplier told me WIX filters has better & more paper and better filtration than pf52.I`m now using this filter.Did not perform the blow test.

After reading this, I tested my PF 52 filter before installing it on thursday, and I got zero blow by.
