Oil for new turbo

Is there any reason not to run synthetic in a new turbo. I just changed my oil, and will do it again if I need to, but would prefer to leave the expensive stuff in if its ok.

yea, your fine. i run valvoline in my 119k motor and its no worse for the wear, i just change it every 2200 to 2500 miles.
