About 500 miles since winter ported head and bigger turbo change, and I find very clean oil on top of my RJC powerplate when I remove the plenum. Didn't have this vbefore the work over the winter...re-used the same PCV valve.

It is clearly coming from the PCV via the hardline that attaches to the top of the throttle body.

Not a "lot" of oil, but enough to puddle on the gasket surface primarily at the rear of the plenum and at the EGR tower.

Any problem here??

Thanks, Bob

I've got the same problem with mine except when I pull my line off the vacuum block it will actually drip a drop or two. Seems to be sucking it up from the valley pan (oil that gets on top of there) in mine so I'm thinking of replacing the intake gasket (needs to be done anyway because it's leaking like a sieve out of the back of the motor). With this oil contaminating the intake air I'm betting that's where I'm getting my detination from.

Yes it will cause knock if it get bad enough,It lowers the octain level in the gas when it mixes with oil.Did you use the stock style intake gasket when you reassembled? @ least i would put a 893 pcv in there they are the best for our cars.
