oil in boost controller

[turbo buicks]

i just installed a manual boost controller that is located in the engine bay. i hooked it up using the stock pressure line from the turbo outlet and the sock wastegate hose. i have not yet installed my valve cover breather and i am worried i might get oil in my boost controller. will this likely happen or not? also, for now, can i just take out the oil line going to the turbo inlet and leave it hanging and plug up the turbo outlet with a rubber cork until i get my breather in?
