Oil leak main seal help??

Just wondering if anyone has any idea of what my problem is im guessing the mail seal but I have oil being blown through my intercooler through my up pipe into the throttle body. I removed intercooler and saw oil all by the main pulley just wondering if you all think its the main seal and how hard it is to replace and or how or what else I should replace or check??

Have you looked in the inlet bell on the turbo? Sounds like you turbo maybe leaking oil.

Well look at it this way, its much easier to fix a turbo leak than a rear main seal. However cost might be more on the turbo leak fix.

oil being pushed threw pvc into vacuum block and leaking down the up pipe into your intercooler

Ok just recently put a new pvc valve so I guess the best thing to do is clean engine out it all back together and keep a eye where it leaks from?

Yeah that's what I would do.. Since you have to clean all thy oil anyway. I would also try and run without a PCV for a while and see if tht helps.. If you still have oil in your throttle body I would suspect its the Turbo leaking

Is your engine all stock?
Do you still have the Engine Vent Filter Elbow that is connected from the passenger valve cover to turbo housing?
Oil will go from the passenger valve cover and through the intercooler through the up pipe and into the throttle body
If so you should remove the system and place an air filter like the photo shown

In one of his pictures,you can see the rubber cap on the inlet bell.

Check for in and out thrust play on your turbo.

How many miles on the car ??
Its 25yrs old. It may be from when the factory setup was running from the vc to the turbo. Oil around the front lower pulley. Is the seal. Blessing in disguise
Pull the cover and replace that factory shit box timing chain before it takes out your motor.

Grab the impeller and see if you can push it to the sides and make contact while turning it. If so it's probably due for a rebuild. Send it to brian (bison) or get a new one if you plan on upgrades later.

Wheres your crankshaft bolt? I hope YOU took it off?

Lol.. yes i took it off with the intention of changing the main seal but just cleaned tge motor all up now bolting it all back together to see if i can pin point the leak. No play in turbo shaft but did have quite a bit of oil in filter on the valve cover right behind the turbo.
