That solenoid is supposed to vent to open air.

Thanks im gonna go threw the car this weekend. And those will be the first things i do. I had to put a fuel pump in it already too. What does Getting rid of the oil recovery do?

It pulls oil vapor from the valve covers. Sucks it through the turbo, pushes it through the intercooler, then ultimately into your cylinders. I pulled almost a quart out of mine when I got it. I don't recall him having a scanmaster. Nice score!

You will notice it most when under sustained boost. If it is bad, I'll send you my brand new one I got from kirban.
