Oil Leak

I have a freshly rebuilt motor and I seem to have a leak from what I have narrowed down to the rear main seal.

Its not the turbo oil return line - checked that.

I'm dripping from the tranny / flywheel inspection cover. Theres a hole in the bottom of this cover and thats where it drips from. I removed the cover and saw the track of oil just up inside there.

I don't know where else it could be leaking - I tightened all the pan bolts up. The rear main seals are new after my rebuild - like not even 200 kms ago !

Anyone else havblem oe this pror know of a fix ?

PITA ? Do you have to remove the tranny or maybe just the pan ?

First, make sure its not tranny fluid. It can fool you. Tranny fluid gets dirty in there and comes out the hole of the flywheel cover black instead of red.
Might have to taste it to see ...................... , I mean smell it .
