I was wondering if I need to pull the engine to remove the oil pan.

Do I need to do this? I also have a girdle.

TIA
Don

you can unbolt your mounts, lift the motor. You can use a jack, if your car is on ramps Might be able to w/o ramps, unbolt the pan and work it out.

Will there be enough room even with a girdle to wiggle it out? Can I do it with the trans still attached?

You can remove the dust cover on the trans but you can leave the trans in. The removal will depend on some other parts....Motor mounts, and body mounts to be exact...I have an HR Parts poly motor mount and my body mounts are shot...I removed and reinstalled mine without having to touch anything but the dust cover on the trans...my bottom end is stock....if i had a girdle there is no way i would have gotten the new one back in. like regal ttype85 said...at worst you might have to take one motor mount loose and raise the engine slightly but it will come out!
