techniques sought for optimal way to degrease power wash oil pan area and gasket replacement or ? have a slight leak running down on crossover muffle pipe just adjacent to location. tiny 1'2 inch diameter drop of oil on ground after sitting for a time on driveway after running; however we all know that could be losing while operating. ??

I removed my oil pan and let sit overnight and then cleaned block with razor blade and brake clean. Then replace with cometic gasket, with just a light skin coat of the right stuff. No leaks yet. Idk if there are better ways out there but there is quite a bit of discussion in the past here. Search it and see what method will work best for you.
