The GN Turbo saver line blew out spraying oil all over the engine compartment..
Lost about a quart of oil.
Replaced the braided line.
Replaced the oil and filled the oil filter.
Now no oil pressure.
Any ideas of why no oil pressure?
What's the fix?
Does the oil pump needs to be primed.

The dip stick says it full.

Are we talking about you or the car???

Just kidding, it sounds like you need to prime the pump if the oil sender is working.

I would check for a good connection if it's not a mechanical gauge and then prime the pump as it will only take some time to do it and could save your bearings.

After 6 years owning this car I feel like a dip stick for buying it!
We put a mechanical gauge on it today and still no oil pressure.
Will try priming the pump tomorrow.

We've all been there your not alone.

Sounds like all the oil drained out of the housing uncovering the gears before you had a chance to put it back together.

Prime it and you'll be back in smilesville until the next TB episode.

When these cars run, there is nothing like it!
When these cars break down, there is nothing like it!
