is there any easy way to get the oil return line to go in to place? i have the stock return line are there any aftermarket lines that are easier to use? or even some sort of hi temp hose that i can use instead? this hole return line thing is making me go bald. thanks in advance

I actually just ended up using heater hose. I haven't really driven it much to see if it works out well. I don't think there are any tricks, and its just kinda a pita. Believe me, the feeling of relief when you get it stabbed is great.

I would not use Heater hose.....

My "Trick" was to buy an 86/87 Turbo Oil Return line. Cut the Nut off the end of it, and use it on your car.

The Oil line is roughly 2-3" Longer, and you can get it in the grommet before you drop the turbo on. Can probably pick one up for around $30.

Worked excellent when I had my 84!

thanks. i thought that the 86-87 return line might work. i will have to get one. where can i get one from?

feel free to keep posting with other ideas.
thanks

well its 26 deg. f out side and im very cold now after spending two hours playing with my return line but, i was able to get it done without pulling the turbo. i wraped a small chain around it and pulled it into place. but i think i am going to get the 86-87 return line so if i have to pull the turbo again for any reason it will be easier to get the return line in place. thanks everyone.
