I used studs from the get-go and it does make a reinstall go like silk, so ESP you may want to include two studs & "self locking" nuts, it's just the right thing to do for the Buick bunch.:D

PS: Been a long time but now I remenber that I did turn the flange or tweek the fitting at the block to get the final alignment right on. OH and nothing beats the white PST sealer #567 I think.

ARP studs

ARP makes a nicely designed stud that might work well in this application. See pic below. The OEM bolt is M8-1.25 x 18 mm.

The wrenching space is so tight, the 12-point ARP nut might be a "plus".

I just checked summit, and they are available. The four pack of the 32mm version is $37.88.
