ok back to the drawing board loud backfire i mean loud!!!

thought i had no spark got it to fire and boy did it fire got a stumple than kaboom i mean scary wow maybe cylinders are loaded w/fuel also what are 2 fuseable wires going to the starter i changed the starter last year and im questioning if i put the 2 wires where they belong anyone?

Thinking about yanking this motor and replacing with 383 stroke SBC seems like too many problems for too much money and the result would be a slow car dunno really starting to hate this thing try. To leave it alone and come back to it. makes it harder to remember I'm missing something here did the no start need a good manual bought one on eBay last year for120$ and it was missing the ignition and injector stuff. This sucks

If you look through the sticky . . you can find what you need.
Was the backfire through the intake or exh?
Are you getting spark?
