I've replaced about every elec. component on this car (mod., plugs, coil pack, wires, etc) and I still have a terrible miss when the boost is high and I'm running 3/4 throttle or more!!
I never had a scanner before, so I just threw things at it! Now, t-link indicates something really really weird:
Under the 1/4 pass, I had a literal scroll of malfunctions stored....things like 02, temp sensor, ecm, maf....all showing up when the car spit and sputtered!
....and here is the catch...I watched the replay and found voltage to be a nice 13.8 during the initial stages of the run...then, all of a sudden the voltage drops to .6, 1.3, 3.3, .6, 13.8, .6 respectively. This pattern matches the "freak out" by the sensors (int off the chart, blm's gone, o2xcnts over 100, a/f at about 30 mv......but why????
Is this a bad computer?? I had this same problem since I bought the car and went through 2 rebuilds with it staying around. However, during that time I tried a new computer and the symptoms stayed the same!
I checked grounds...added an engine ground.......I'm totally lost
