If it was leaking at your oil drain tube, then would the smoke not be coming out of the engine compartment instead of the tailpipes. Like the problem this guy has. Was it leaking at the 2 bolt gasket underneath the tube??? Or Where.. See I kinda have the same problem my shaft has play vertical "up an down" about 3 milimeters. Car does not always smoke, but when idling for a while it will really start blowing some smoke. Gotta be the turbo , cause if it were the rings in the motor , would it not smoke alll the time???????? I'm no mechanic but seems to make sense. Seems if that bearing in the turbo lets any oil by it at all it will star t to back up in the housing an start to smoke, especially when idling, cause there is not a lotta gas pressure to keep the smoke so invisible. Just my theory!!!!
