Did a little research and The general consensus seems to be running a tighter gap helps. But... Some guys are running high boost and .030-.035 or more and have no problems. The LS boosted guys are running really tight gaps to .018-.020.
What are you running for gap and boost?

With a stock coil, .028"

With the TR6 / GM truck coil, .032-.035", or even wider depending upon plug design. Plugs with a cut back strap don't really need any wider of a gap since the spark is "unshrouded".

I'm about to install new plugs today. Plan on running 18/20 boost on street and maybe up to 24/25 at the track.

I did some reading yesterday on here and 32 gap seemed pretty popular.

I'm pretty sure I'm running a stock GM coil. Not sure how to tell?

Surprised to see these gaps so low.

Were talking E85.

I missed that part! I always click the what's new tab so I didn't catch the E85 section.

That's cause i think ur just using the stock coils only.

I went all the way down to .020-.022 @ 18psi No more spark blow out.
Sounds like you have other problems,no way you should have spark blow out @ 18psi
