Eric, you will only smell the plastic burning for a short time, but only if the installer did not follow the instructions to remove the inner panel, or cut a hole in it!

Yup, quite a few plastic inner fenders got holes cut in them.

I remember them hence the comment. Some wanted to make the hole as small as possible; the instructions must be wrong LOL
