or else I will ask the admin to shut this thread down. I am going to talk to some club and vender owners soon about a "POSSIBLE" club, or a remanagment of an old club. The point of this thread is to ONLY POST IDEAS, OR QUESTIONS you might have about forming or remodling a club. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT START a bickering fight, or I WILL shut down the thread. THIS is an opportunity to post your questions/concerns/and ideas about a club NOT an opportunity to vent you woman like emotions all over my important thread. Dont waste time replying to what OTHERS SAY, SPEAK FOR your self and ignor your "enemies" posts. I want this to be clean and IMFORMATIONAL but more importantly I WANT IT TO BE EQUAL!! Everyone has the right to put in their 2 cents worth.... I will be using these quesitons, copying them all down, printing them off and dicussing EACH QUESTION with these club/vender owners when I go have my meetings if you will call them that. Now is the time to speak up, this is all UNformal and nothing is promised by myself or anyone else. These are just talks n NOTHING is set in stone, and nothing is finalized!

OKAY, now that the disclaimer is out of the way; post up. Post what would you like to see happen with a club, what possibilities are storming around in your head, ideas about membership, ideas about promotional events, anything club/vender/racing/gn related. Keep it clean and keep it simple. Ideas about a website, newletter, membership, but more importantly TECH SESSIONS!!! I truly believe that all this BS is only because we have no formal place to vent, no playground, no classroom to be educated. And look what happend, the "club" and "this board" are HURRRRTTTING with out proper MANAGMENT! Its not the admins job on this site to spank everyone who missbehaves and hope they change their ways, we should be strong enough to SELF regulate and not cry like little girls to admins about OUR problems! Everyone is laughin at us guys we need to stop it but more importantly do something about it! This is just my opinion, and a good start I hope. Admitting you have a problem is the first step boys, who wants to take some more steps forward with me? If so here is you chance to throw out questions, or any concerns about organizing.

Do not feel presured to post up, if your post is somthing you dont want others knowing then call me, email me or PM me. ALL info is confidential, and WILL NOT BE SHARED WITH OTHERS, I dont care if your a vender/club president or crack head W. Bush himself. ALL INFO concerning this matter is kept private and WILL NOT BE SHARED, and thats just how I am doing this. Have a problem? Post up let me know, I am will to negociate and bend over backwards for this club i mean "possible" club. Who remember fontana a few years back, I dont really haha to be honest but that is just the 2000mg of vic's i was on that day just coming out of the hospital with a new metal knee I just rementioned this to prove how far I am willing to go to get a club managed and KEPT running right not crumble down like marriages that dont work out! But just like any marriage, the foundation has to be solid or it will fall in the end! These quesitons will be used in order to explore the best way to rebuild and build new a foundation of GN owners that lasts, I know I am not going anywere for awhile reguarless of how cheity or how awsome this board or any club is, and I want GN's to be part of my life for a long long time. So help me out if you want, if not thats cool too thanks for your time and even if you dont post I will be looking for your support soon! Thanks guys happy sunday.

Not quite sure what you are asking us to do here? Do you need "ideas" as to how to start up a club or are you trying to organize events?...

yea just any feed back you can think of in reguards to what you would like to see. For example, what are you looking for in a car club? In reguards to events,flyers,group meetings, tech sessions, parts sales, discounts on vender parts, anything generally car club related.

An example; I would like to see like people have mentioned before at least 1 to 2 meetings a month, participation is never a must and always optional. I would also like to see the old school tech sessions back. I would like to change how a car club is run. In my opinion no ONE person should be incharge of everything. For example; I would like to see different people run/focus only on 1 small portion of club related work such as websites/emails/mail/flyers/contacts for tech sessions/raffles/everything! Also I would like everyone in a club to have a vote that is equal to everyones elses vote, no matter what posision you hold within the club.

I mean I certainly have my own ideas but I would like to see what others want, I am sure I havn't thought of everything.

nothing certain yet, trust me scott. Well see what the next few weeks brings

not that i had time today, i was just in front of the computer for some of it. Elky came n picked up my tires, Pete helped me with fast & engine harness, Ray got to bs everyone and say the beautiful seat black seat @ his house was his And deliverd a turbo, a 70 gtq that ray has to barrow cus his turbo is smokin. Pretty busy. Busted out another soc paper this weekend as well so my face was either outside doing GN stuff or writing my soc paper.

let me know if you have anything/any ideas. There has gotta to be something you miss or dont get from a current club Unless tb.com is all you need heh.

I would like to see more meetings at the track for one. For example my "other" car club (for my GP) we had track days on saturdays about every month/other month and we would pay the track fee's to get in. Then the club would rent 2 lanes at the track where the GP's would bracket race and we had to pay an extra $30 to race in that event. Also they would hand out trophys to top 3 winners and the extra cash would go to do events later on (ie cookouts/get togethers) and at the end of the year we would have a dinner and give out trophy's to the top 3 racers in points. The track event was fun plus it got a lot of us together and raised some money too!

When we (SCACGP) used to go to LACR to race, there would usually be other clubs out there also (ie a Vette club, and Mustang Club) and what used to happen was we (SCACGP) used to run with the Pontiacs in two classes. FWD (us) and RWD V8's. And at the end of the bracket racing for that day we would have a "King of the Hill" bracket race where the winner from the FWD class (W-Body) would race the RWD V8 winner Luckly for me I was usaully faster than the V8's ..... but what I wanted to get to is that "we" here on TB (once we get our club going) could get together with a local Mustang Club (and I know there is a lot around cause they are always having gatherins at Fudruckers, ect) could get together and run our races then go heads up against their winner (either bracket racing or heads up) I think that would be a little different that us just racing ourselves all the time (I would get tired of winning all the time :biggrin: ) What do you guys thing? We could even get together with other clubs and head out to the park for cookout/baseball/softball weekends?
