I think it's running better now boys.... 20 # of boost on 110 octane with race chip (think 110 red's )

Thanks to Lee Thompson for all the encouragement and really nice comments, they were very appreciated. Thanks to everyone who stopped by and took notice, I almost had more fun talking about it then running it. Thanks to Lee for making the 3 inch down pipe and all the input you have had over the past couple of years. Your progress with your project is very motivating and innovative. Thanks! Some day I want to run 10's just like my Idol....
;)

man so so close, i think you got it were you want it now, just a few runs or a little more boost and it will be there.

good job man:)

Nice, One day I want to run that, but currently in the 14s. Oh well, we will see what a mease DP, and poston headers do here in a bit. Im glad there are more of us pushing these cars.

Would you mind listing your setup and parts used, Thanks

Great times and at pretty low boost too! Now throw an intercooler on there and go fast. :) Sorry, I had to.

Well heck, the war's over.....bet I could buy a surplus missle or two and strap em to my car and beat that :D Impressive times...good luck ;)

SWEET!!!!!!!

:D :D :D :D :D :D

FREAKIN HOT-AIR.....................That's what I'm talking about!!

He better get his ass in gear or the 87 will be pulling daily driver duty.

Later, CHRISTIAN

I have the complete write up on the gnttype site just go there. It's under the heading Hot airs rule... And Cool 84 I knew you just had to, heard your handle mentioned a couple times while at Norwalk. That's okay later this summer Alcohol..... G-Body, you may have to come and see what he wants to do to keep it from hitting, I really don't need 8 degree of knock from my exhaust hitting. I much rather see 0 degrees regardless if it's false or not. He has the exhaust off now and is thinking another spacer will accomplish this. Since the tranny is out the Art Carr is going back in 3800-3900 stahl is too high for what we have planned. Really liked the 3200 the last time out last year. Then it should get the 60 foot back and who knows what else will improve.... We had to run 1/8 miles for a while on Friday due to a wet track on my one slip shows faster times then the 12.02 1/4 mile pass so it's there. Can't wait to finally have the slip to prove it. The fastest mph on only 18# 's of boost and fuel at static of 47 was 112.89 mph. Should be a fun year...

Twins actually you will see a rosewood metallic 87 next year that should be doing 10's right out of the box. We are going to build that one this winter for him. His (GN) is going back to pretty much basic upgrades and no more track time. Really should leave his 40,000 mile GN alone and use the T for what it was bought for. So, it should be a lot of fun next season. :D

Actually someone claimed to even be your friend... Imagine that... LOL ;)

Ha! No way, I'll have to try and alienate myself farther from the rest of the TB community. On a serious note, I hope to actually meet some members of the board this year in Vegas if the POS is running by then.

Yes I will be there all week, signing autographs etc.. Just joking. I liked to see the look on the guys faces when they realized I painted it and did the rubbing out in our pole barn. Of course a HUGE amount of credit needs to go to Karl for all the hard work he did, rebuilding the pillars, all the modifications he's had to make to get the set up to function and the many hours working on the disassembly and assembly of this project. Next winter only a couple repaints and the car will be done. (Yes, I made a couple booboos on my first project, what a learning experience)The thing that really meant a lot to me was all the positive encouragement from Lee, it meant a lot for the mentor to compliment the student. Now I think we can actually play with the tuning and hopefully Lee was able to get that part number I emailed for the larger alternator we were talking about. Can't wait till next week.... :D :D
