I was once paired with a woman 5'2 ish wearing a second dan black belt, while I was donning my yellow belt. It was just sparring in class, not competition. Now I am by no means a big guy, 5'10' and at the time was about 165 lbs. I grew up with a father that held 2 black belts and a brown, had 3 brothers and we beat the crap out of each other. This little woman was no threat.....so I thought. She came running at me like this was a title fight !!! Ended up having to throw her, but damn she meant business !!!
