Got my car dialed in and for the first time in 11 years with the car i scared the crap out of myself............i thought i was going to lose it!

My car is making big big power, i have gone 130mph in the 1/4 (stock unrebuilt shortblock)with a much milder combo before and after i felt my car again tonight i do not need to build my stage II motor!

For the first time with big turbos i have eliminated turbo lag.....i have zero lag with my LT 76 GTQ at 26psi/22 degrees timing/1650 egt!

Well i will get the slicks on and load it on the trailer and see how it does this weekend.

I still have a headach from that split second thought of possibly wiping out..........i was heading for the shoulder then corrected the steering and ended up 2 lanes over the other way and then got it straightened out.............scary.
Really really got to respect the power i am making now.

Anyway just thought i would share my experience with you,

Mike.

The good thing about the vic is that i can add fuel to the cylinders individually, i like running the middle cylinders richer then the others from past experience with using a hemco etc.
I am running a gen 6 with 6.32 software, the 6.0 software did not work for me.

Once i get my 8 egts and mount them on my header tubes i will really get to utilize the vic,and dial it in 100%.

John

Idles a little rough compared to my 206/206 528 lift roller cam i made myself a couple years ago.
Cam is in the 224 range with approx same lift as my older cam.
Stall is around 3400.
I think the converter really helped........compared to my old Art Carr unit.
As far as the tune,i am quite sure the whole "combination"(key) is working very well, tuning and tweaking was done in the garage and at a local straightaway late at night.

So far 6 years of racing on it.........blew one head gasket and burnt another in that time but i am really carefull with my tuning and have the proper scan tools to keep an eye on things.
