i have a stock t-type 36 lbs injes, wanting to run a 100 to 125 shot.first off is it ok and if i am running like 18 psi of boost with the nos engaged will it up the boost to 20 or 21.does it make boost run higher with the gas.and do i need a special chip for this.should i run the race gas with the nos and higher fuel pressure.thanks for your help.

My understanding is first the fuel system has to be able and support the higher HP. Then the octane used has to support the extra HP. and finally the boost will increase big time when you hit the switch. i would tell you start small and conservative.. then up the power one small step at a time. Guys here have been doing it for a long time, tho NOS isnt as popular as alcohol or propane due to the uncertainties it can sometimes lead too.

Do a little searching under nitrous.. you'll find some guys. TTA Joe was playing with it recently. I cant remember his particulars.

I'd start out small like a 50 hit.

The only person in my area to use NOS on thier GN picked up nearly 9 mph from a 35 hit on a mostly stock car. From 104.x to 114.x!

It was a dry system, for an import I think.

Start with a good base tune w/o NOS. Use good gas - at least 100 UL - and start small with a 50 shot. Keep an eye on your scanmaster!
