I remember from reading in the past that it is recomended to run the 200r4 1 quart overfull.
I just bought my WE4 and the trans was overfull by about a quart. I sucked it out, but afterwords I have been thinking and I remembered about the overfull recomemdation.
The fluid wasn't foaming.
So my question is If it is advisable to run a quart over what is the best way to measure that. Hot and parked on a level surface, trans in park Get the fluid level to the full hot mark, then add an extra quart then drive again untill fluid is hot and then mark the level on the dipstick?
Thanks
Scott
I did a search but didn't come up with anything.
I forgot to add it is a completly stock trans.
