Yeah and they don't fit worth a damn either. The holes wouldn't even line up on either of mine. They went in the garbage can.

I personally think the orange ones look best. Especially at night. Does anybody have pics of the clear at night?

The clear lenses look good, but I think they would look better with a set of those headlights that are black when they aren't on. Damned if I can remember the name off the top of my head. Now THAT would be a killer look.....

THAT IS exactly what I was trying to find. They are made by a big company like GE or somethign, but I dont know the exact brand name. I saw them once in JC Whitney, i'll look and post any info I find.

Good luck dude. They've been out of production for a number of years. If you can find them, snag me a pair or two as well :)

Edit: They are called Philips Color Clear. Hope that helps.

i just got myself a set at the junk year today. there are a lot of cars that look close but don't fit. i ended up finding a 80 regal that had 2 good lens' on it. For some reason the drivers side doesnt' fit perfectly tight on my car, i think thats a design flaw in my car, the lens are the same size as the old one i took out.

it made a HUGE difference in looks, i never really minded the orange, but i love the clear.

the guy wanted $10 a piece for it, i think its a bit steep, but i also get 2 bstill plyable front bumper fillers and the plastic part under the grill all for the whooping price of $25.

bringin back a dead post.. loll I just scored a perfect set of clears for my GN. What color bulbs you guys running?? I have the clear bulbs in now but when I turn em on they are not very bright.. Whats the orange bulbs look like when lit?? Pics??

For the 2057 bulb, I use the amber one. For the 194, I use the white one. I like this look better.

get some blue ones yo!!! thinking of that i saw a cop stoped at in intersection in the turn lane, a something came up behind him, turned on his flashing blue turn signals. the cop didn't even wait to pull him over, just got out of the car right there (i assume gave him a ticket)

but seriously i use the factory orange bulbs (except on the drivers side it burnt out and the only thinkg i had was clear, the car is parked so what does it matter) it would be nice if someone would make a led type, so it could look clear but light up orange. or maybe just a cover over the front of the bulb so you can't see the orange bulb under the clear lens.

i think this is something every tr should have done. i would never go back to the orange lens. its just not right.

Not exactly sure but, it might be a law that the turn signals have to be yellow/orange (it is around here)

Just a thought...nobody says it's an inforced law...

In Michigan it's legal to have amber or clear (white) lights to the front. That includes running lamps and turn signals.

That's pretty funny about the dope with the blue turn signals. I gave a guy a ticket here for blue DRL's (daytime running lamps). Not sure what he was looking for but he took me to court on them Tuesday....and lost. $90 and 2 points on the driver's license....OUCH!

Is it just me or is it common sense NOT to put blue lights anywhere on your car??

You can buy amber or clear/white LEDs to replace the turn signal bulbs. I bought a pair for my Chevy truck's DRLs in amber. For whatever reason the regular bulbs burn out quickly in GM trucks. LEDs won't burn out.

The site to order motor vehicle LEDs is Super Bright LEDs. To avoid tickets check with state/local laws on their use as they're not DOT legal for some applications. Definitely stick to white or amber to the front, and red or amber to the rear.

I see alot of people near me with clear lenses and clear bulbs, but I don't think the police bother those people too much. I have even seen some people with green ones. It's the blue ones that theyy really go after. I don't blame them. It's been too many times that I almost soiled myself seeing that in the rear view mirror right after going a little too fast. Only to have some POS with the bumble bee swarm sound go buzzing by me. It makes you want to drive over them, then back up to make sure you got them. Afriend had red lights inside his van, and got pulled over for it once, even though they were inside, but you could see them through the windows.

I would venture to say that most states don't allow much deviation from OEM colors. I heard Ohio doesn't really care about colors which surprises me.

Michigan law allows NO deviation from OEM colors anywhere outside the vehicle. This includes smoked headlight/signal/brake light covers since they change the color and intensity of the light. No colors may emanate from the interior of the car either. Shortly after the Fast and Furious movies the neon nonsense started up along with the funky colored windshield wiper squirters. It quickly faded after they got 2 point tickets for each violation....12 points = no more license and outrageous insurance rates.

Needless to say it's rare to find anything around here sporting anything but amber/white to the front and amber/red to the rear. Green, purple, red (front), blue (anywhere) and any neon will get a quick ticket.

Even the judge in my hearing told the defendant there had to be some semblance of uniformity to prevent [in his words] "cars from looking like UFOs on the road". :p

You are correct but the same holds true for the converter. How many of us actually have one on the car?;)
