i am looking for a turbo and its driving me nuts......my setup is currently 55 pnd inj,3000 stall ,,,3 inch dp,,,,rjc mega cooler and 7 piece racing pulleys.....can u guys help me out here ...thanks tb.....
If you choose to go non BB the 61-52e is a very nice street and strip unit. The 67 will definatly make more power though. The spool up on the 61 is quite good with a 3k stall.
A local buddy has a 67BB and I was suprised it did not pull harder at 24 psi. He was a little disapointed with the performance. But there were some other small issues with the car at the time. With a 0 pump Vig the 67 spooled well.
thanks guys i found the 6152e on full throttle for like 830 bucks....the 67 sounds awsome but unfortunetly its a little over my budget....and since thats the only thing thats putting me on hold on my malibu swap...i think the 6152e looks just about right.......nebody no were i can find a better deal....nd has nebody ran with turbo??

I have used 2 different set ups with this turbo.
1 went 11.21 at 121 with 22-23psi. Ported heads and intake, 206 roller cam, stock location I-C, 3400 stall 9/11 (I like stall speed:wink, and 009 injectors. Full weight car with a/c. The 61-52e had an PTE 85 ex housing with the higher stall. This same combo went a best of 11.20 with a 45A with 23psi. So the 61-52 was right there. But spool was nicer with the 61.
This combo would run consistant 11.2-11.3 times with 60 fts in the 1.65 range.
The 2nd... Is my car in the sig. Stock motor with bolt ons only. No ported heads or cam. The car is driving through the converter (to loose), so I think the et and mph shoul/could be a little better. But, for 23 psi, I am happy.:smile:
