Orange Wire behind seat?

There is an orange colored wire with a clip on the end that comes in behind my seat on the drivers side, and it wrapped up on the pass side, and i was wondering what it was for? Is this for a trunk light maybe taken out by the previous owner when my fiberglass decklid was put on?
