I was thinking about acquiring some of the original documentation for my TR's to make them "complete".

Does anyone have a "complete" set? I was hoping people could post what they know and maybe some pics of what documentation these cars were supposed to come with (ie: owners manual, concert sound manual, tire warranty info, etc....)

Documentation

I have been trying to obtain a complete set of documentation for my GNX so I copied everything shown on eBay. Ignoring the GNX supplement and in addition to the order sheet/window sticker, most of what is shown below came with the 87 GN. Hope this helps. By the way, I seem to recall someone makes copies of window stickers.

Don't pay too much

All of the books (except perhaps the owner's) should run in the $5-$8 range. The only problem is finding a warrenty book without the info being written on the cover. Then its $50. One would think that with 28000 TRs, x thousands Regals/Lasabres/etc. in 1987, they would be easy to find in pristine condition (they must be out there) but I have been looking for a cheap one for some time.
Good luck.

These booklets. Where does one find them in these price ranges? ebay? If it's a super secret, you can PM me...

Thanks for the info

On eBay & beyond

Remember these came with thousands of 87 Buicks. Each day I search 87 Buick warranty manual looking for a blank one. I bought one with a LaSabre manual but it was filled out. There are a bunch of folks who sell auto literature under the buy-it-now category below the listings and I found stuff there. I think the goodyear tire book cost 2 or 3 dollars from one such dealer. When I inquired at the Hershey & Carlisle auto shows, the dealers generally said 87 was too new for them. Its out there.

I picked up a few GNX supplement manuals for about $20 ea from Kirban about 10 years ago. He occassionally lists literature for sale. Check his mailing.
