Yeah send me over a pic. Would still look better than the one I have right now (when we ordered a OEM one way back in the day we ended up getting a 84/5 one instead of the correct 86/7 one).

Send me your email addy, I can't get them small enough to send them to you in this site.

Just bought this straight black one from Classic Industries, $238.

I'll report back, goes on end of September.

Car got a ton of new body work and due to time, had a dyno session to get to, we didn't install it. Round 2 coming.

I'm going back to install new SS T Top kit, fix some blems and have the hood liner put on Oct 17th so hopefully end of Oct I'll report back. Honestly, a nice painted under hood with a flip paint looks so good I'm gonna consider not even installing this or cutting it down, looks so clean without it. Might bail on this after a month of seeing it painted. 🤔

Got a call from the body shop......
Classic Industries hood liner is thin, almost to the point to being barely worth the expense to mount it to my fiberglass hood.

Might bail on it, the painted under hood looks great vs the total expense of a thin barrier. 🤔

I'll post back with pics if they end up installing it, I let them make the call since I trust their opinion on these things.

If you’re going for more of a factory look, it seems a thin hood liner would do the trick as long as it did fold itself in two when you opened the hood??

Update, I'm bailing on the hoodliner, selling it soon and got you all a picture of the hoodliner on my fiberglass Glasstek hood.

I'm going to Lizardskin Coating and painting that, I'll do a post later.

The hoodliner is nice, has 8 mounting points (yellow clips were used for mock up) and is close to stock except the logo embroidery. I personally liked the painted look way better and while I'm looking at $600 vs $250 that's how it goes.
