Trans is built new (billet parts, high end clutches) 3500 stall AC convertor, big B&M cooler and Bruces deep pan and bottom feeder. Did some tuning with the local DFI guru and we did some (5-6) back to back high boost bonzai runs with the outside temps at 101. Motor stayed cool. The other day trans starts acting weird (Footbraking car the trans seems slugish and boost is slow to come up) and transbraking it, car is a slug coming off tranbrake with slow spool. Nailing it from a stop, it does not slip sputter or waver, it will get after it with no rpm spikes ETC. Smelled the fluid last night, and it looks fine, just smelled real hot, burned smelling. What up. Expert opinions?
