I got owned because of good customer service and fast shipping!

i'm not naming anyone because this is not the vendors fault at all, it just sucks for me. i wanted to vent my crappy move.

I had placed an order for a converter on tuesday night, per the vendor's website. upon speaking with someone about getting a new trans for my car, i realized I should probably go with a 10" converter instead of a 12" converter.

so I called them today at lunchtime, today being thursday, to see if i could change my order.

of course the nice receiptionist on the other line had to give me the bad news "actually nick... the order has already been shipped"

:(

so i either pay $30 to ship it back and $50 for restocking fees.. or.. well.. i guess i have to otherwise i'll be stuck with a converter thats not really the best choice for my application.

dang it. basically $110 down the drain. i hate wasting money :(

That does suck. Hopefully you can get most of your money out of it by selling it as new in box. :)

i emailed the place that actually makes the converters directly to see if they would do a straight up exchange.. im not even opening the box when it is delivered in hopes they'll just take an exchange without a restocking fee,

which i think i might have better luck with since im sure they probably would have no problem reselling it, compared to a vendor that orders it from the manuf, keeps it on shelf, etc...

keepin my fingers crossed!

i know the product will be nice either way...
