I'm looking for some new ideas on mounting my tank. I'm switching to the dual fans so I won't have it mounted on the shroud anymore. Even when I had it mounted on the fan I wasn't to happy with it there. The plastic holders didn't hold it tight enough so I had to add some zip ties. One thought of mine was to mount it over on the driver's side and run a long hose. I also don't have A/C so I have a little more room now with the drier gone. Any suggestions? Pics always a plus...

Mount it in the area between the battery and core support. The cap faces the radiator, and the bottle sits at a 45 degree angle using only one of its braces to hold it in place. The brace will be attached using a self tapping screw to the passenger edge of the core support.

When you open your hood, there is a "L" shaped bracket that holds down the battery. It is held in place by a 10MM head screw. Rite under this screw is where the tank is placed.

I have pixs somewhere on the computer that got hit by a virus a few weeks ago. See if I can dig one up.

Cool. I'll take a look tomorrow and see If I can visualize what you're talking about.

I actually mounted mine inside the hole to the passenger side of the battery, between the inner and outer fender. Just look for the triangular shaped hole next to the battery. You can access it from below and check and add coolant through the hole. I utilized the two sheet metal screws already located there to secure it(creative work with zip ties.) There are a couple options for running the hose to the radiator.
If you're going for stealth it works great. Otherwise it might not be worth the work.
If I wasn't on the road I could send you a pic or two. I could get one to you on Friday.
Good luck!

I have little room where Julio suggests mounting it. I have some braided tranny cooler hoses routed over there. It looks like I may have enough room to put it up on the inner fender near the MAP sensor.
