like most older cars, the rears get rusty. i want to keep my car as original as possible but at the same time make it more show worthy.

would you leave the surface rust or put some paint of por 15 on it?

Since the rear ends didn't come rusty, I'd do whatever you can to make it look better. I am a big believer of POR-15. The gloss should do the trick. Paint the brake lines while you are at it. :)

do you have pics of what por 15 looks like brushed onto a rear?

On a ~20 year old car, I'd say spring for one of the Stainless Steel replacement sets. The PST kit was about $130, and IMO, well worth the peice of mind. Especially after pulling my 85 Cutlass out one day, and having a line fail from having rusted thru. And while not oem, getting AN type soft lines, IMO, is a good idea.

i probably would, but this car has never been in the rain best i can tell. it still has all the inspection makes on the underside.

im just scared that if i brush on the por15 it will look gooped up in corners and if i cover up anthing that moves it might crack.
