What paint do you use to paint a transmission case? I was thinking about rust oleum VHT I think it is?

It doesn't need high temp paint, regular Rustoleum is fine.

If you are wanting something that gas,oil, ATF won't stain ,,i have used this and it's impervious to gas SEYMOUR 620-1417 Industrial MRO High Solids Spray Paint, Dark Machinery Gray 16 Ounce (Pack of 1) @ Amazon ,, FWIW, its not dark gray like the cap. Much lighter , like a slate gray..
