painting question

i am using summit paint (kirkler) i looked on summit and kirkler website and find not to much...



what i would like to know is it is 80 and above in chicago and 80% humidity i think it is ti hot and humid to paint, but i would like to get my car done so i can drive it this year. what is a goot temp and humidity to paint. i am doing a garage paint job.

yep, try and wait for the humidity to drop some first. I have sprayed several cars that we were turning with kirker paint and for a cheaper line it impressed me pretty good. Its no PPG paint but hey, the price ain't either and it shines good. Daniel

wait until its night. i live near chicago and i have been only painting things at night it cools way down and the humidity drops.
you live close to autobody toolmart you know you can get the paint cheeper there.

just a tip where i live there is alot of dust in the air because the heat and wind kick up the dirt. i suggest throwing a chain over the rear end and let it droop on the ground. this way you wont have all that static electric. i would also disconnect the pos side of the bat.
this is the best thing to do in a hurry.
