I did repaint the black sections on two GN wheels and did a pretty good job!...It does however have a tendency to peel off over time. When I did them (maybe 10-15 years ago), I had never heard of powedecoating but now that I know, I would definitely have them powdercoated as it has a more durable finish and will last much longer than paint.
