I am looking for ideas on colors and brands of paint that people have used for their engines. My entire underhood area is powdercoated black pearl so i was looking for a gray or silver possibly. Anybody have a picture of their engine that they could send to me for ideas? Thanks.

As you can see, as evidenced by my old GS 455, I'm a fan of a detailed and painted engine just as much as anyone. However, on the Turbo V-6, other than the from valve covers up, the rest of the engine is obscured from view. Perhaps you're more ambitious, which is good, but I would dress it from the valve covers up and below that, heads and block, I'd just go with something basic. Maybe Krylon dull aluminum on the heads to simulate aluminum heads and black on the block. Easy to touch up. That would be my suggestion.
