OMG! I can't believe it! What am I to do now? My power master on the Malibu is showing signs of leaking fluid after 10 years of service AND this was a used unit when I installed the drivetrain!


After lasting 10 years I think I'll take a chance and buy a reman unit. Seems like they last pretty long time!

You seem to have more luck than our family does. First one went out 600 miles away from home...towed to St.louis where he put a vacuum unit in. Every since then I havent trusted them. Originality? My answer to this is I would rather have an original front end then an original powermaster . Glad someone is having luck with them though!!

I still have the original power masters on my 85 and 86 GNs.I replaced the accumulator bowls several years ago but no other problems.
