Parts Store Ignition Module Tester

Has anyone tried that on a GM Delco Module. I've been tracking down a no start on my Car that's been driving me nuts. Last week it failed the no start tree (finally) pointing to the crank sensor. Replaced it, and I've got injector and spark back but it's apparently not hot enough to fire the plugs (they're wet) As a last ditch they said I took the ignition module to the parts house and they tested it as bad.

Is it reliable.

Not in my experience. I have had the parts store test modules and alt as bad and they were not.

Alan, I'm coming up your way around June 6 thru June 8. I have a Casper's CCCI Simulator that I can bring with me if you'd like. I've never used it...or read the instructions, so it would be a learning experience for me.
