I have a check valve in line between the vacuum block and the PCV on the GN, I had always thought it was stock? But on my Iroc ('86 T-type) it doesn't have this valve. Right now I'm sure I need to replace that PCV because yesterday at the road course track I started spewing oil out of the passenger side breather BAD. So Can I get away with just a new AC Delco PCV or should I put in a check valve like the GN has? If I need a check valve, where would I be able to find the right one?

I don't know for sure, but I've read that the Delco Turbo PCV valve is the only one you want, possibly because it has the check valve function in it already. My car does not have a check valve.

I had both a check valve and the correct Delco PCV in mine. I noticed vast differences in the blm's with the check valve in there. Mine would constantly go up to 150 at idle. Once I removed the check valve and used the PCV all by itself did the blm's return to normal.

Sounds like I should just replace with the Delco unit then....

Hey Lee, how's the Turbo SS coming?

Its getting there. I am waiting for my harness and a few other odds and ends. But it is all Buick under the hood now.

Same here. I "HAD" the check valve inline with the PCV. And BLMs would go to 150 at idle. But turn the AC on and BLMs would go back to normal. Anyway took the check valve out and am using PCV only and the BLMs are normal now.:)
